CALIBRATION PLOTS ...


Most calibrations of ionic species in ion chromatography are linear in nature.  There are a few ionic species, however, that do exhibit non-linear characteristics.  These include ammonium and acetate, and to a much less extent, formate, phosphate, and bromide.  The worst case is ammonium, a weak base, that only partially dissociates in the suppressor.
